who we are
Mission: The Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, Consociates, and Partners in Mission are leaders, educators, administrators, builders, healers and advocates who have dedicated their lives to making bold moves for real change in the community.
The Ministries Foundation raises funds to support the ministries started by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet (CSJ). The CSJs are a group of women religious who strive to foster the common good through advocacy, social justice, education, healthcare, social service, and spirituality. Today that means walking with the immigrant, caring for the medically uninsured, mentoring young women, working for justice, and providing community and opportunity for spiritual seekers. The Sisters of St. Joseph ask us to partner with them with our time, talent, and financial resources to help carry out the vision to future generations.
The Ministries Foundation supports the four core programs started by the Sisters: St. Mary' Health Clinics, Learning In Style School, Sarah's... an Oasis for Women, and the St. Joseph Worker Program, among others. Through events, fundraising campaigns, grant writing, donor development, and marketing, the Ministries Foundation ensures that the Sisters' mission of "loving God & the dear neighbor without distinction" is protected into the future.
